I’m a girl, and my favourite pokemon are bug types, especially Butterfree, Scyther and Galvantula. I just think they’re so cute! It annoys me that there aren’t any females in the games who use bug types as a main. It kinda associates all girls with the stereotype that we’re all scared of insects.
No, it’s because they generally suck stats-wise.
Sincerely,
-a girl who knows about the game mechanics.
In addition there are several characters in the games who are female and have bug-type pokemon. In fact in one I believe there’s even a gym leader (Or member, can’t recall) who is a girl and uses them.
My favorite films | The Princess Bride (1987 Rob Reiner)
