Hey, I'm a boy, 18 years old and a relatively large nerd xD I like video games, particularly Final Fantasy (VIII's my fav), Kingdom Hearts, Mabinogi, Haven and Hearth, CoD, Demon's Souls, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon and a lot more xP I also love anime (Bleach, Tsubasa, Naruto, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Code Geass are my favs), movies, FOOD, baseball, and archery. I’m a girl, and my favourite pokemon are bug types, especially Butterfree, Scyther and Galvantula. I just think they’re so cute! It annoys me that there aren’t any females in the games who use bug types as a main. It kinda associates all girls with the stereotype that we’re all scared of insects.
No, it’s because they generally suck stats-wise.

In addition there are several characters in the games who are female and have bug-type pokemon. In fact in one I believe there’s even a gym leader (Or member, can’t recall) who is a girl and uses them.
